I would like to tell you about one of my visions to do with Christ, it relates to a time from his childhood. In this vision I introduce you to his Sunday school teacher, show you a moment in his life, his mother and his younger sister.
The story of Christ and his mother Mary is known and cherished by many people all over the world. Mary named her son Joshua but to the world he was known as Jesus. (See online for Abrahamic text for related details.)
I wish to remind you that everything I share comes from my own visions and traces.
On the Earth, there is a place called the Holy Land – but to the forgotten past, it is situated comfortably on the Lands of God. In this place there was a certain water well, located at the bottom of the hill slope, where villagers gathered to fetch drinking water and to converse with each other.
A young boy named Joshua brought two empty containers to fill with drinking water. He was about seven years old, shy around people and quite small for his age. He had shoulder-length brown hair with natural fair highlights, wavy locks with golden ends. Though it was a cloudy day, his eyes were bright and sparkled with joy, as if the sun was shining through them.
There was often a small queue at the water well, so he had to wait in line until it was his turn to fetch the water. Around him, he heard a mixture of sounds: birds chirping, insects buzzing, whispers, laughter and some complaints about failing health, while others spoke intently about their crops.
On that particular day, his Sunday school teacher, Eleanor, was in the queue in front of him; she noticed him waiting patiently whilst quietly observing everything around him.
When Eleanor greeted him, the young boy looked up, bowed his head and smiled shyly, with a dimple appearing on his left cheek. The dimple feature is something he inherited from his mother. He was quite fond of his teacher. She wore a headscarf; a truly elegant woman. Eleanor was also married but did not have her own children. Teaching Sunday school was something she cherished. What’s more, Eleanor was quite accomplished, wealthy and spoke four different languages, including: Aramaic, Latin and Greek.
Regardless of her stature, she often queued to fetch her own drinking water; for Eleanor, it was a spiritual and a symbolic act. It demonstrated that above all things, it was important to be grateful, humble, and grounded to the important things in life and to the spirit of the Creator. Eleanor also believed that since drinking water is needed by everybody equally, regardless of wealth and stature, she would obtain it in the same way as the villagers did, as an act of solidarity to her people and to the human spirit.
Eleanor offered to help the boy and said, “Let me help you, Joshua; bring your containers”. After filling each container, she instructed him to return home and to give her greetings and well-wishes to his mother.
He gently bowed his head in thanks. As Eleanor watched him walk up the hill towards the higher slopes, she admired how balanced and strong he was for someone so small, spilling not one drop of the water. She didn’t know what it was, but she felt strongly that the essence of destiny was in him; she wondered what his future held.
Joshua’s inner water balance was so precise that one day he would walk on water.
Back home, his mother was in the kitchen. Noticeably, there was a small round table which Mary used to prepare food and where the family gathered to eat. She was placing some seeds in a vase which she kept by the window, in order to expose them to the light. This was an act of spiritual cleansing; it allowed her to connect to God. Whenever the vase was filled to the top, she would journey to the hilltop, or sometimes to the field, and scatter the seeds across empty spaces on the ground. Afterwards, she would remove her headscarf to likewise expose her hair to the light, and pray. To Mary, seeds and hair had the same spiritual significance. This is why she kept Joshua’s hair long.
As she was pouring some seeds to the vase, she saw her son walking back from the well. Her heart lightened and a dimpled smile spread across her face as she saw Joshua carrying the heavy containers up the high slope.
As he stepped onto the higher slope, he saw his mother coming out of their home running towards him, both smiling at each other. She was wearing a blue scarf which she uses to tie her long brown hair. When she reached him, she leaned down to take one of the containers, saying, “You are a good son. Here, let me help you, Joshua.” Handing one over to his mother, he said, “My teacher sends her regards and well-wishes.” “Oh, you saw Eleanor! Did she help you?” his mother asked. Joshua replied, “Yes, she drew the water from the well and filled the containers.” Still smiling, Mary replied, “That was very kind of her. I will express my appreciation on Sunday when we see her.”
When they entered their humble-sized home, they heard cries, “Oh, your sister, Mary, is waking up. Can you get her, Joshua?” asked his mother. “Yes”, replied Joshua.
His sister's birth name was Miriam, but they called her Mary for short, after their mother. In this vision, she was a little under two years of age.
Thank you for reading my article. In a later book, I hope to share the rest of this vision, give more about his sister and reveal many things to do with Joshua (Jesus). For instance, the identity of his secret disciple, the significant meaning of the "Our Father" prayer, and how I saw the resurrection. Importantly, Joshua’s connection to Masada in Israel and the missing time. (See details for previous articles below related to Masada.)
